Another Baby Quilt Delivered

For once I actually finished a baby quilt way ahead of time, and it's a good thing I did since I hadn't planned on a broken arm this year.  I originally blogged about the quilt in this post.  We knew our friends were becoming grand-parents in July, and I wanted to be ready.

I made the quilt .....

..... and designed the back using the remaining fabric.

When we learned that "Baby" was to be a boy, I had my friend Penny create a label for the back.  Since Grampa is an engineer and the fabrics have letters, numbers, and airplanes, I named it "Grampa's Little Genius."

Well, the Little Genius is a little cutie pie!  Isn't he adorable?  Can you tell he loves his quilt?  Yah, I can too.

yeah, he is a cutie. Funny thing is that you made the quilt back as pretty as the quilt front. Made me smile that he is lying on the back. .....and that is why backs should be pretty.

Sandy, that's adorable. I've given two quilts away where I had to explain which was the front because I had pieced the back, too. I always think it's obvious, but maybe not to everyone. I think you should call it a reversible quilt! (And I know piecing the back is almost as much work as putting the top together!) Very cute quilt AND baby!

Love it. The back is as neat as the front.

Another cute quilt for a cute little guy. I certainly can see how pleased he is with his new quilt! :)
