I had decided on my goal for this month and even took photos so I was ready to blog on the 5th and be done a little early. Ahhhh, the 5th did not go as planned. Not at all. This is my sewing arm .....
..... and this is my sewing hand.
I would show you my sad face , but it's pretty pathetic.
So, May's quilty goal for A Lovely Year of Finishes is one I may be able to accomplish using only my left hand. I need to update my Quilt Albums on Flickr, update my Quilt Spreadsheet on Excel, and make sure I have photos of all the quilts I've made (almost 300!) uploaded to my Shutterfly account. I have a project in mind, but I never take the time I need to work on it because I'd rather quilt!

Poor Sandy! That looks like you need a lot of rest! Just forget the quilts, and concentrate on recovery. They won't walk away, they'll wait until you can sew without pain. I hope you feel better soon.
Oh my goodness! That is no way to spend Cinco de Mayo. Too many margaritas? (Sorry, couldn't resist.) Seriously, heal fast and get back to sewing soon.
I'm visiting you from Chantal's blog. I hope you recover quickly.
Sandy, hope that you are doing better! (IQuiltToo)
OMG!! I have been out of touch for so long that I just now saw your picture of the sad hand and shoulder. What a bummer. Hope you are healing fast and that it won't interfere with the retreat. Looking forward to seeing you. I've got to get back to more frequent blog reading/posting, huh?
